How The Law of Attraction Can Help With Your Diet and Fitness
The reason why your State of Mind is so important when it comes to health and fitness is because there is an irrefutable fact about human existence that you can't escape:
People only do things when they are motivated to do them!
If you think about this, you will find that it is true for every single action that you take (or don't take) in your entire life. Sometimes we do things that we don't want to do (like go to work) because we are motivated by the money that comes in our paycheck. Sometimes we do things that we want to do (like sleep) because we are motivated by the fact that we're tired, or, we just like to sleep!
There are endless examples of this fact, but with regard to getting in shape, it becomes absolutely critical that you discover WHY you want to get in shape. Sticking to an exercise and nutrition program can sometimes be challenging, and if you don't have a strong "why" reason in place, the chances of you sticking to the program are minimal.
In fact, most people have already been through this many times. They say - to themselves and/or to others - that they are finally going to start cleaning up their eating patterns and start getting some exercise. This happens for a week or two (or less) and then what happens? They stop doing it because they aren't motivated enough to keep going!
How do I find my "Why"?
In a word: Honesty. You need to be brutally honest with yourself about why you want to get in shape, and don't just use the "canned" answers that first come to mind. For example:
"I want to lose 10 pounds." - That's not a reason, that's a goal.
"I want to fit into the bathing suit I bought last summer." - Again, that is a goal, not a reason.
"I see everyone else looking "hot", and I want to look like them." - Who cares what everyone else looks like?
Honest Answers:
"I feel ashamed of myself because I am so fat."
"I'm setting a bad example for my children."
"I really want to prove to myself that I can follow through with a long-term comittment."
Do you see the stark difference between using some lame motivation in order to get in shape vs. using a true driving force that gives you a white-hot desire to succeed?
This is a very important point for you to take to heart! If losing weight and getting in shape was something that came easily for you, you would have done it already!
So, think of what your TRUE reason is for wanting to get in shape and then DO IT!

In fact the more miserable you are about something, for example, weight loss, then the more powerfully you will attract more of the same since that is where you are focusing your thoughts.
Utilizing the power of the Law of Attraction for weight loss, you simply stop thinking about your situation in the negative manner and start having positive thoughts instead. As you can imagine, this is more difficult than it sounds, just ask anyone who's tried it. To be truly successful as many others are, you need the help of proper tools that allow you to automate the law of attraction as much as possible. The Law of Attraction basically states that you attract all the circumstances that are occurring in your life to you based on your thoughts and feelings. There are no limits to what you can want to achieve and those visions start within your subconscious mind. In order to attract and create the body of your dreams you must realize this first. Programming your subconscious mind involves creating a clear and concise vision. You need to be absolutely clear with the way you want your body to look. Almost everyone focuses on what they don’t want or they focus on what they think they can look like and this becomes the limiting factor and people fail to reach their goals.
Most people write down their goals and review them and then when they don’t reach their goals they give up. The Law of Attraction will not work if you are just writing down your goals. You have to affirm your goals through your vision and through positive self talk in the form of affirmations. Statements that include phrases such as “I am”, “I now”, and “I have” need to be used in place of statements such as, “I will”, “I think”, and “I’m going to”, just to name a few. Every single word you use in your thoughts and during your self talk on how you want your body to look like has a profound effect on how you look.
The way our bodies look are a direct result of what we think about them. It takes much more than just writing down goals and wishing for them to happen. Since we attract what we think about, we need to change our thinking and we do this through programming our subconscious mind. It may seem like a lot of work at first but in reality it is fun. We all have the freedom to think about and create whatever we want through our thoughts. Creating the body of your dreams is a fun process and one that everyone has the ability and freedom to do. You must believe it first before you see it!
