Angie's Luv-N-Care
Parent Testimonials
"Angie’s Luv N Care in-home preschool is cozy, functional, and immaculate, and---as with everything she does---Angie Schumacher is constantly looking for ways to make it better still. In perfecting her home day care, Angie has created a wonderful place where kids are cared for loved like they were her own and simultaneously taught and trained like they are big-kid students! When my daughter started at 18 months she was barely speaking and within a week of being there she was adding 15-20 new words per week, for months on end! After a space unit, my son could name all the planets by sight and would even recognize if they were out of order on the chart---he was only 2 ½ years old! Angie has fun and creative thematic units and tons of activities for mastering “the basics” of letter and number recognition, etc. She is up to date on the expectations of the local kindergartens and keeps up with new and innovative approaches to teaching children not only what they need to know to be ready for school, but also what they need to know to be joyful, loving and respectful children! "Angie Schumacher is also a virtual potty-training-WONDER!!!"

"I cannot speak highly enough of Angie and the care she provides to my 2 year old son, Cole. I’m a stay-at-home mom and Cole is our only child. I had no intention of putting him into a pre-school situation until he was much closer to entering kindergarten. Truth be told, I’m highly possessive of the time I have with him and was skeptical about leaving him in the care of a “stranger.” However, I had a chance to get to know Angie when I began a fitness program as one of her personal training clients and came to appreciate her character, integrity, and patient, gentle nature. When I learned that she also ran Angie’s Luv-N-Care, I thought that a home-based pre-school situation with a small class size would be the perfect opportunity for Cole to have a chance to play and learn with other children since – as an only child - he is surrounded by adults 24/7. Rather than requiring a minimum number of day’s enrollment, Angie was flexible and allowed us to bring Cole just one day per week. When Cole surprised us with a case of separation anxiety after initially seeming to adjust quite well to pre-school, Angie was more than willing to work with us to help Cole overcome his nervousness. She treats the children in her care as individuals with unique personalities and needs. I am always reassured to know that if Cole is having an off day, Angie will treat him with patience and kindness."

"My name is Jolene Presley. My son's name is Charlie. He attended Angie's from the time he was 7 months in 2003 until June of last year. I was a very nervous, first time Mom and not eager to leave my son with anyone. Angie changed all of that for me. The transition was very easy for Charlie and it's because of the time Angie took to build that new relationship with him. I never had to worry that her focus was somewhere else.
Charlie is very well advanced and loves to learn and I know that Angie had everything to do with that. He learned so much and enjoys sharing, reading, music, dance and anything to do with animals. All, among others, subjects Angie provided in her daily routine with the kids. I know that Charlie's great manners, and how he interacts with other children come from the atmosphere at Angie's.
Charlie adores Angie, and her and Destry have become dear friends of ours. If you want to feel confident that your child will get the most out of daycare, I recommend meeting with Angie.
Feel free to ask Angie for my contact information."

"I want to let prospective parents considering Angie as a daycare provider what a wonderful choice she is. My 17 mo old daughter was in the care of Angie from November of 2007 until July of 2008 at which time I moved out of state. My daughter would be so exited at the mention of going to Angie's house and as soon as we would turn into her driveway she would be chanting Angie's name over and over again and could not wait to get out of the car. I was also provided with pics and videos of my daughter's activities and it was apparent how much fun and learning she was experiencing and I could understand her excitement. I never once worried about my daughter in her care as my daughter never showed any apprehension about being dropped of. At the time Angie was a full day provider and my daughter was there five days a week. We moved out to the state and my daughter at random times will out of the blue starting saying Angie's name over and over again. She misses Angie and the interaction with the other children. Picking Angie for a preschool provider is a guarantee that your child will have the most positive experience possible."
